Breakbulk Middle East 2025: An Edition to Remember

  • Logistics
A prominent delegation, led by Patricio Erhardt, CEO of Erhardt Logistics, attended an event that continues to break attendance records and consolidate its position as a benchmark in the Middle East.

It was two intense days of meetings, discussions, and new opportunities. We would like to express our gratitude to clients, suppliers, and colleagues who visited us at Breakbulk Dubai, trusting us to continue shaping the future of the Project Cargo sector together.

Energy Transition Opens New Opportunities

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) continues to strengthen its position as a global trade hub through collaboration, infrastructure investment, and innovation adoption. In this context, Breakbulk Middle East plays a key role by bringing together the industry’s leading players to drive its development.

The energy sector is at a pivotal moment, marked by geopolitical changes, supply chain disruptions, and increasing pressure for sustainability. The energy transition opens new opportunities, as the current project portfolio does not meet the region’s ambitious renewable energy targets. While solar energy continues to dominate the market, onshore wind energy is gaining ground due to its compatibility with local climatic conditions.

The event featured strategic debates and various presentations. Igor Muñiz, CEO of Erhardt Projects, shared his vision on the development of “Giga Projects” in Saudi Arabia. In these projects, intermodal transport is key to ensuring the efficient flow of cargo by land, sea, and air. With over 211,000 kilometers of roads, 10 ports, and 28 airports, the country is moving toward more sophisticated intermodal infrastructure, including railway development, which will transform logistics and connectivity in the region. In this scenario, Erhardt Logistics’ presence in the area provides a significant competitive advantage.

Additionally, Breakbulk Middle East focused on two key trends: the role of women in the industry, highlighting their growing presence and professional development, and the impact of artificial intelligence, with strategic sessions and case studies reaffirming the need to adopt it as a driver of efficiency and competitiveness.

“We Are There”

Infrastructure growth, a booming tourism sector, and the push for renewable energy are shaping the region’s future.

The Middle East is advancing decisively in the energy transition, and Erhardt Logistics is already there, supporting this change with logistics solutions capable of meeting these major challenges.
