Yesterday, November 8, the “SME of the Year – Region of Murcia 2022” awards ceremony was held, organized by the Chambers of Commerce of Cartagena, Murcia, and Lorca.
TMC – TERMINAL MARÍTIMA DE CARTAGENA, our terminal at the Port of Cartagena, received an Accésit for Sustainable Company – SME of the Year Award, Region of Murcia 2022.
Sergio Conesa, Director of ERHARDT MEDITERRÁNEO, represented us at the ceremony and was responsible for accepting the award. The awards ceremony took place at the El Batel Auditorium in Cartagena and was attended by around one hundred guests, including the Vice President of the Region of Murcia, Isabel Franco, and the Mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo.
This year, the main award went to the company Sercar Servicios Integrales. The accésits were awarded as follows: Innovation and Digitalization to Patrimonio Inteligente; Training and Employment to Nueva Cocina Mediterránea; Internationalization to Fama Sofás; and Sustainable Company to TMC – Terminal Marítima de Cartagena.
The award is co-organized by Banco Santander, Grupo Vocento, the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena, the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca, and the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia.
The objective of this initiative is “to recognize the work of small and medium-sized enterprises as generators of wealth and creators of employment in their day-to-day activities.”
All award winners will go on to compete in the national final to be held in Madrid in the first quarter of 2023.
