In March 2024, the new facilities of the agri-food terminal at the port of A Coruña, in Punta Langosteira, were inaugurated. With an investment of over €45 million, this modern infrastructure consolidates TMGA – Terminales Marítimas de Galicia – as a benchmark in agri-food traffic in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula.
TMGA, the pioneering company operating at Punta Langosteira, has experienced significant expansion over the past nine years. It currently spans more than 47,000 square meters and has a storage capacity exceeding 250,000 tons of agri-food products.
The terminal incorporates cutting-edge technology, with innovative equipment and systems that automate processes and prioritize sustainability. Among its advancements are eco-friendly hoppers and horizontal transport systems designed to reduce CO₂ emissions and minimize environmental impact.
