ERHARDT, active in the Logistics, Steel & Trading, Information Technologies, and Insurance & Risk Management markets, held its Annual Convention in Bilbao on May 25–26.
The second day of the convention opened with remarks from Eugenio Erhardt, President of the company, reflecting on the highlights of the past year. The year 2023 marked 141 years since the company’s founding (1882–2023), a period that saw significant growth and the opening of two new offices in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
The President emphasized that “2022 has been a strong year for the group’s various business lines, both economically and in terms of client trust, as well as in integrating our diverse services, capabilities, and teams toward a single objective: providing clients with a seamless, end-to-end service.”
During the convention, Erhardt Logistics was introduced—a new entity integrating all the logistics companies from the former “Logistics & Maritime Services” division. Its goal is to unify the group’s logistics businesses, services, assets, and capabilities under a single brand.
The event also highlighted new initiatives in digital transformation, open innovation, and venture client programs, as well as the growth and developments within the Insurance & Risk Management division.
The convention was held under the motto “Evolving,” which, in the words of the President, “perfectly defines the spirit of this company, which is always committed to growing, improving, and evolving.”
